size limit: 6 dog/handler teams
1. Obedience Training is recommended but not strictly required.

This four week course
is designed to help students build a great dock jumping dog from the very beginning. Great Dock Jumpers start learning solid
skills and motivation well before they get up on the dock and begin to jump off into the water.
Instructor is a DockDogs World Champion and also holds the World Record for Short Dock Jumping.Included in the class:
The fundamentals of chasing, visual tracking, jumping, and grabbing
objects while in the air.
drive and motivation for the retrieve toy.
Throwing Drills for the Handler and tips on the “physics” of toy throwing
for optimal jumping.
building Core Muscles, Coordination, and Body Awareness.
Teaching the dog to “stay” while the handler gets into position to throw
a consistent performance routine for dock jumping.
Building Confidence in the dog to swim and jump off of the dock.
